Short-Term Health Insurance Plan Features

A short-term health insurance plan through Vera Health includes coverage for many different health care services with flexible payment options and coverage periods. We’re here to help give you financial peace of mind from life’s unpredictable moments, like unexpected medical emergencies and accidents. We also provide access to plans that provide you with coverage for costs related to basic medical care, like doctor visits, lab work and some preventive care.

Temporary Health Insurance Grows

In the past, some short-term health insurance policies were previously limited to three to six months. However, with recent law changes, short-term health plans can now offer coverage for up to 12 months*. They can also be renewed up to two additional times, depending on the state in which the plan is purchased. These new renewability options make short-term health insurance a flexible, attractive health insurance option.
